Their advertisement was spot on 'excellent service' and that's what I received. I was referred to All Star Movers & Storage by my realtor Ken S. and I'm pleased to say this four-man crew was spectacular!It started with a virtual tour of my mom's home with Cheryl D. This virtual tour was done via smart phone and I walked through each room so she could determine the size of their truck, crew size, time to complete the job, storage size and estimate of job.Paco, Alex, Juan and Mario arrived on their scheduled day and were ready to work. They all joined my walk through (a quick recap) of what needed to be done and they got right to work. I had two destinations, #1 storage facility (during commute traffic, 15 minutes south) and #2, my home (45 minutes north, back in commute traffic). So it was critical to load the truck efficiently.It was clear each guy knew their role and they all used their time efficiently, and worked well as a team. Not a slacker in the bunch! They were always polite to me and my cousin Teirey, as well as to each other. No request was too big or too small, and they never made us feel like a request was an imposition.Because I had a few add-ons, one couch and a sectional (which are certainly big pieces), I wasn't sure if the storage space I rented would accommodate these additions. The person at the storage company made me feel a bit nervous and thought the movers would get halfway done loading it and then realize they didn't have enough room. Paco, the lead mover, was so confident, he said, "if it doesn't fit I'll pay for the move." I took Paco's advice and sure enough we had room to spare! That's what happens when you're experienced and confident—and he certainly was! Paco's advice saved me a lot of money by not having to rent a larger storage space! She was proud of her yard, every plant she grew and every hedge she shaped, including her well manicured lawn. She has two daughters and countless photo albums representing our lives. It wasn't easy watching her possessions wrapped in plastic, packed into cardboard boxes, sealed with tape and then disappear into the back of moving truck. Her possessions now stored in a 10'x20' storage space less than 10 miles away, will be divided, sold or given away in the coming weeks. Her home is now empty, and one day soon another moving company will show up to unload the possessions for a new family.)

I needed the movers to move everything from the level which had hardwood floors that were being refinished to a lower level while the work was being done. Later, moving the furniture back to the hardwood that was not yet "cured" (takes about 3 weeks after it drys) required delicate carefulness on their part to not scrape the new finish and they excelled at this! In addition, there was an antique armoire which comes apart for moving and when they reassembled it the door no longer closed because the wood had changed a bit during the storage period. They send a qualified person to fix this shortly thereafter. I was really impressed that they stepped up to do this. I highly recommend them to anyone who likes a business that performs well and stands behind their work.

My wife has white sofa's and is super critical of stains and chips on the furniture. We can't say enough good things about this company and their Team Members.We had a complicated move, from a 3 story large house in Southern California to a much smaller apartment in Northern California. A majority of our stuff was going into long term storage while a good portion was temporarily stored and then moved into our apartment.Cheryl and Nina expertly helped us plan the move with multiple video calls over several weeks, leading up to the BIG move.When our movers arrived, Paco and his team of Victor, Gio, Orlando and Juan were absolutely INCREDIBLE. If I could give 10 stars I would! A friend recommended this All Star Movers. Moving from Sacramento to Orange County and I'm glad I hired them because Bill the owner made the process super smooth and easy and was definitely worth hiring them verses trying to take it all ourselves with a Uhaul (it's not worth the truck rent, gas, time, and headache to try to do it ourselves). Bill worked with our schedule and was very nice and easy to work with. They communicated very well and made the process easy. The move was a big change for us and the Mario who came on site was nice and said he has been there a lot and it's so beautiful there and told us we will love it there...which was a comfort for my son to hear since this was a big move for us. They took care of our stuff very well and nothing was damaged and all placed where it was supposed to be. I even recommended my friend to use them and she loved their service!

This was the best moving experience I have had. The last time I moved the experience was not good and things were damaged. I was referred to All Star by another company who could not accommodate my move date. I was promptly contacted and appointment for an estimate was set up. Bill, the owner, came out and gave us a very thorough proposal. The move date was scheduled. Two days before the move the buyer of my house had a problem and the date was moved. I called Bill and he assured me that changing the date was no problem. We set the date for the next week, the deal fell completely apart and the sale and the move were subsequently cancelled. Bill again said no problem, call me when you are ready. Two months later the day finally came. I emailed Bill on a Saturday to let him know we were ready to move on Thursday. He emailed back that day and said no problem. He got everything scheduled and honored the original estimate. On moving date 6 guys showed up ready to go. The team was lead by Harp. He asked me to show him what went from each room and any special instructions. His team began to load the boxes, disassemble and wrap furniture, appliances and other stuff. They wrapped the door frames and put down runners to protect my stuff. They were done in 4 hours, an hour earlier than estimated. We met them at the new house an hour later. They quickly unloaded the trucks, putting the right items in the right rooms. They reassembled everything and made sure they worked correctly. They finished the job, including travel time and hour and a half early and adjusted the invoice accordingly. Absolutely nothing was damaged. They handled things better than my family. I would absolutely use All Star again. I could not believe how they accommodated the last minute changes.

Then the team of Jorge, Maverick, Angel, and Patrick that moved our stuff was fast, friendly, and courteous. They took care of placing all the items in truck in an orderly fashion and with care so as to prevent any damage. They did additional wrapping where necessary. Harp and his crew were the BEST! They were very friendly, asking questions to make sure they understood what we wanted moved and where we wanted it moved to on the other end. They worked great as a team, and after a Herculean effort to get on oversized piece of furniture up over a bannister in a tight staircase, when it wouldn’t fit through the intended doorway, no one complained or moaned. I called this company to receive a quote. They were quick to respond and very nice on the phone. Bill came to my home today and provided my husband an estimate. The quote was fair and lower than another quote I received from another company. Bill was very knowledgable and informative. He even put my husband at ease after he explained how he would move his large fish tank. We will be using them next week for our move.

These guys really went above and beyond on a HUGE move. The job went longer than expected but they stuck it out and did a great job. The movers were friendly and polite. Expert packing of the truck and respect for our belongings were truly appreciated! I would definitely use them again!

We hired All-Star to move my condo early March here in Modesto. We LOVED the crew so much that we requested the same guys to move my fiancées home from the East Bay to our new home in Modesto this past week. We highly recommend and appreciate all the extras that they did without us even asking! Their rates are competitive and I’ve done many moves being a Military Brat…these guys were professional and took great care in handling all of our stuff. Thanks guys!!

Bill was easy to work with and very thorough in all arrangements. The three men he sent to do the job were all very efficient and respectful. It was a 9 1/2 hour job and their energy level remained high throughout the day. Great job!

These movers are fantastic! They arrived on time and sent 3 men. I was told it would take 5 hrs to load and unload but it only took 4 hrs. I would recommend them to anyone.
